The success rate of growing jasmine from cuttings is too good than other growing methods. Best time to plant to jasmine cuttings is early spring or summer season. The best temperature to grow jasmine plant is 70F.
Now take a semi-hardwood jasmine stem which is very flexible to bend. Cut the stem about 6-8 inches With a sharp knife and remove all the leaves from the bottom (1/3rd) of the stem. Place the stem in a rooting hormone and then insert the stem in a fertile soil. Do not water too much at the beginning as the roots are not yet formed completely.
Within 4-6 weeks the root emerges out from the bottom of the stem and is ready to transplant in a sunny location. The plant matures and bloom flowers making an outdoor garden look beautiful.
Another way is to place the stem cutting directly in water than in soil. For rooting in water method, you just need to change the water for every couple by placing the entire setup near window location to receive sunlight for a minimum of 6-8 hours a day.
To grow jasmine plants by layering method, firstly bend the branch in U-shape and remove the leaves near the node. Bend the stem to ground level and then cover it with a layer of soil. Put some weight so as not to move from the fixed position. Make sure the tip of the stem is slightly exposed to sunlight.
Water the plant a little so as to keep the soil moist. Roots may develop completely within 2-3 months time. Wait until the leaves establish and separate the new plant simply by placing in soil or landscape.

Jasmine is an evergreen perennial flowering plant that grows throughout the year in the USDA regions of 6-10. You don’t actually need to replant the jasmine in every growing season when they settle in the moist rich soil to thrive.
Not all jasmine varieties bloom flowers but can do well in room indoors. For this, you just need a small pot of 6-inch size with moist soil provided with sunlight to bloom white flowers. The sweet scent produced by the fragrant flowers makes you feel stress-free and refreshed.
Though your jasmine plant looks healthy with lustrous green foliage, it may not bloom flowers. It is due to the lack of feeding the plants with water and fertilizers rich in nitrogen and phosphorus.
